these program are geat, Some of these I have listen to in the late 40's ( comedies, westerns, drama,) with my family, even going into the mid 50's when we got a television, my how things change. today I perfer to listen to these old radio progams, then watch todays television programs. there more entertainment in these radio programs then television also better qualty

Great Gildersleeve is by far my favorite show. I'm glad that they were able to dig up one of the Armed Forces rebroadcasts. Getting a hold of these shows years ago required buying overpriced CDs and tapes, and now the classic comedy is available on the cheap. If you've never listened to it before, there's no better time than now to start.
