Disappointing

Although this book was apparently written to encourage Christian children in their faith, I don't think it reached its purpose. It was disorganised, at times confusing, and focussed as much on the different missions as it did on the subject of the book, Samuel Mills. This meant that events some fifty years after his death were discussed, and the sharing of rather dry and boring details. Samuel Mills sounded like a great man and a great Christian. It is certainly worthwhile reading about his life, just not in this book. Thanks to the Librivox narrator for a great read.
