Unkillable

(4.5 stars; 470 reviews)

Unkillable is the story of a young man who is cruelly murdered then brought back from the dead to revenge himself. The kicker is: He’s not really alive. He can be hurt, he just can’t be killed.

It’s dark and funny and sad and beautiful and violent and magical -- if it could be summed up with just a few words, there would have been no point in writing a novel.

Unkillable. Life sucks. Death blows. In between is worse.

Excellent story - a really good twist on the genre that had me hooked throughout. Like a good meal, it left me wanting just an extra mouthful. Not too much to leave me over full or uncomfortable, but just enough to make me walk away with a real sense of ...

Loved this one! Had that delicate mood of the macabre salted with wry humor and terror. Writing and voice acting is really nicely done. Thoroughly enjoyed the philosophical benders Dan goes on as he contemplates his lot in life against the foil of his dull friend Bruce. There are some ...

Very enjoyable listen. Have been having a hard time finding a good listen since the 7th Son books with J.C. Hutchins. This one had a nice twist to the story, good characters and gently placed comedy through out; mixed in with the detective like feel of the story telling. Thank ...

Great Story. I would love to see more from you. I have to agree with a cpl of the comments. The length before and after the readings are a little too much I have to stop working to go to the next chapter and then go back to work. Maybe ...

An interesting concept that is entertaining and gripping from the start. The book is well delivered by the author and the backing track adds to the atmosphere created by the words. Well worth a listen and I will certainly look up all the work by this author!

Not a bad storry, I liked the narration for the most part. I really only have one bigger complaint and that is the length of the intro music between chapters it is to long. If you can bare with that it's worth a listen.
