Great Story!

(5 stars)

Loved the plot of this story. It is the second book about the Bryant Family and I liked it considerably better than the first, thought the first helps you get to know the characters more thoroughly. This is a sweet story, and I really liked the way Pansy brings in the theme of "luck" from the first book and how it isn't the big opportunities that make us succcessful, but its the small ones that we are faithful with. Some people have a hard time with TriciaG's narration. I find that after a little bit you don't even notice her different style. I've listened to a bunch of books by TriciaG and I'm so grateful for her work! Thank You!

SUPERLATIVE

(5 stars)

IMHO this is the best Pansy novel that I have encountered. It is written to leave the reader breathless with anticipation in many places. I was unable to sleep until quite late one night because I could not turn it off until I knew what happened next. TriciaG’s reading of it is quite good. At least once, I thought she had gotten another person to read some of the dialogue, she does such a good job with the “voices.”

Luck vs. doing the right thing

(4 stars)

This book is a bit different from many of Pansy's stories; it is less 'preachy' but just as concerned about young people learning how to live well. I enjoyed it.

this is a KEEPER BOOK
