Science fiction is a genre encompassing imaginative works that take place in this world or that of the author’s creation where anything is possible. The only rules are those set forth by the author. The speculative nature of the genre inspires thought and plants seeds that have led to advances in science. The genre can spark an interest in the sciences and is cited as the impetus for the career choice of many scientists. It is a playing field to explore social perspectives, predictions of the future, and engage in adventures unbound into the richness of the human mind.-A. Gramour (9 hr 19 min)

Enjoyable.

I felt the need to comment on this specific collection because it contains many well done narrations. Many of them sound quite professional and are a treat to listen to. Since all of the stories are read by volunteers, it stands to reason that there will be a wide range of reading styles and proficiency. I am grateful for the efforts given by every volunteer, but it is especially nice to hear stories read by really talented narrators. Thanks to all who make these audiobooks available. I have spent countless hours enjoying them.

definitely worth listening to.

If nothing else this volume is worth listening to if only for the most brilliantly read story called the Venus Trap which is hilarious. Congratulations to that most excellent the reader.
