Commit Thy Works uses the text of Proverbs 16:1-16 to address the recent massacre committed by James Egan Holmes in Aurora, Colorado. By doing this Christians are better able to understand exactly why this situation happened, who actually caused it and what can be done about such acts in the future. We also establish what an earthly ruler is supposed to be that is worthy of our support.
