Reviews

great American Novel

(4 stars)

Fascinating story. Does a wonderful job of telling a "Story of San Francisco" while maintaining the perfect amount of drama and shock. Norris does a superb job of including just the right amount of "WTF" moments to keep the reader wanting to follow through to the end. Would most certainly give it a read/listen if you enjoy classic American "what kind of crack was the author on when he/she wrote it" kind of stories!

Best book ever! Haha!

Best book ever! Oh irony... Haha! GREAT narrator too

(5 stars)

This is a great novel told by Noris. Amazing yet simple way of storytelling with a lot of depth. Keeps you engaged all the way through and keeps you on your toes towards the end. I wonder why no one made a movie out of this? There’s only one made in 1924 and changed the name to Greed. A silent movie. Also, also a big shout out to the narrator Jeff Robinson! He’s done a superb job of bringing the story to life.
