I have heard enough of the book to say I like it more than I thought I would. I agree that the reader totally flubbed chapter 1 and then settled down after that with a few issues in the early chapters. I find the reading a little too fast for me, so I slowed the recording down, which helped. The reader does a good job of voicing the characters, but I really disliked the way she voiced the younger sister—enough so that I was looking for the book to read it online instead of listening to it. But I couldn’t find it. It’s a decent story and I will finish listening to it.

Nice light story, harsh reading

Ā nice simple story that seemed of the sort creating examples for working class girls to see themselves in novels. Pleasant and moderately predictable with a few laughs. The reader lets it down. Very stilted and not taking cues from the text on tone. The youngest sister's loud whining voice is unpleasantly out of character.

cute

nice tale about 3 young women, sisters, beginning careers in the big city. Reader stumbled a bit in the first chapter but did a great job after that. Wish I knew who she is so I could look for more of her work.

The reader is excellent even though the editing of the beginning chapters has some repeat lines. The plot is good .hoping more of the series will be coming soon!

Very enjoyable!

Better than average series book! And very well read! ❤️

Short, enjoyable, and good for when you need a little pull-yourself-up-by-your-own-bootstraps motivation.
