Sacred and Profane Love
Arnold Bennett
Read by Simon Evers
Carlotta Peel is an unusual young woman – clever, self-opinionated, a brilliant author and yearning to love and be loved but also to serve her lover. The book, written in the first person, follows her surprising (and odd) journey through life. - Summary by Simon Evers (6 hr 8 min)

Another Great One From Simon Evers
Scott in Sandy Eggo
Thank you for bringing us this fascinating story of a novelist and a piano player. While the story explores the inner workings of creative minds, it also explores the other side of life as well, those thought to be dishonest and yet in some ways justified. It’s certainly a nice change of pace from the the last novel read by the amazing talents of Simon Evers. The dialogue that was read in this work was delivered with the voice actor quality that defines Mr. Evers as probably the finest reader of British literature for LibriVox. Thank you so much and please keep bringing us new work from the past! Cheers from San Diego California!
