Originally published in 1685, Madame Guyon’s A Short and Easy Method of Prayer is considered a classic of Christian mysticism, influencing great writers and speakers such as John Wesley and Charles Spurgeon. In it, Madame Guyon carefully and briefly sets out her ‘unmethodical method’ by which any and all can commune with God at any time and under any circumstances. (Summary by Jordan) (1 hr 58 min)

Very helpful

This book really explained some of the things I've been experiencing in my prayer life. I'm simply amazed at the detail that was given in regards to really letting your spirit connect with God, being led by Him in prayer, also being silent physically as well as spiritually. I can't wait to try some of the new prayer methods talked about in this book!

A classic, about the experience of prayer

This book requires concentrated attention. It takes time to digest, too. I listen in bed after retiring.

Truly Inspiring

a forbidden book . the author was imprisoned at the Bastille and the book was banned by the Inquisition

the path of seeking His fullness can be very lonely in western culture. this work was very helpful to me.
