Reviews

Pretty good story

(4 stars)

The summary covers the plot. This is an updated review after I listened to this story a few more times and jotted down notes about the characters. There are quite a few, and their stories are heavily tangled together, so the notes helped A LOT. The story centers around the murder of a shady DA, and his police officer brother who is suspected of being the murderer. The police officer begins an unofficial investigation but then ends up being shot himself. His friends, two reporters, decide to take up where he left off to see if they can figure out who the guilty party is. The reader is excellent, and the recordings are also excellent.

Not my cup of tea but good narration

(3 stars)

This story was indeed difficult to follow and I can't say that I really enjoyed it. It was just okay. I would skip this one unless you really like the narrator or the author. The narrator; however, does a lovely job and has a very pleasant voice.
