Pleasant reading voice and speed!

The text used is not modernised, but MaryAnn reads it well to convey the meaning despite the less familiar vocabulary.

Such a great book, one of the best analogies of the Christian faith. Good reading

Must listen!

I believe there are two books in this world every Christian should read; number one, the Bible. Number two,The Pilgrim's progress. If you are a Christian my friend, you must read this. Would that all men would read this remarkable allegory regardless of state or religion. Believe it or not, the author prayed for every person that would read his book, The Pilgrims Progress. I now will join him in praying for you.

Classic of Christian allegory

John Bunyan was a teacher, minister, and tinker by trade. He was imprisoned for 12 years since his views were judged too radical by the authorities. This book about the pilgrims is somewhat autobiographical because Bunyan himself was a ruffian and drunkard as a young man. Then one day he listened to a preacher and was convicted to change and repent. Very well read by MaryAnn!

very enjoyable

I have listened to this book countless times now which is an indicator of how enjoyable it is to listen to a book I consider the best book anyone could ever read besides the bible. MaryAnn has such a beautiful voice and has a gift in her ability to bring to the listener the author's meaning bringing life to a book that is full of similtudes. Thank you MaryAnn for giving your time to make the audio book of Pilgrim's progress. I have been comforted and encouraged as I listen to this audiobook when I am bed bound and unwell which is often.
