Engels is a personal hero of mine. However, he was deeply flawed. He wrote from an inherently cis gendered Euro centric perspective. Nowhere in this discourse does he reflect on the role nonbinary LatinXs played in panslavism and Prussian nationalism This is unforgivable. We must shun him and all his works.
