The Forbidden Way
George Gibbs
Read by Tony Oliva
...he went over to a cracked mirror in the corner and examined his face, grinning at his image and touching the red marks with his fingers.
"That was a love-tap for fair," he said. "I reckon I deserved it. But she oughtn’t to push a man too far. She was sure angry. Won’t speak now for a while." He turned with a confident air. "She’ll come around, though," he laughed. "You just bet she will." (From chapter 1 of The Forbidden Way) (10 hr 54 min)

A FUN ROMP
AVID READER
An interesting story of business dealings in the early days of the development of the west. It almost serves as an allegory for the true pleasure of the simple love of domesticity, even with the encumbrance of great wealth. Tony Oliva does a fine narration.
Great Fun!

It took a few tries to get past the, rather silly, first chapter but I’m very happy to have made the trial. The story is very entertaining with diverse characters. Tony Oliva is simply brilliant.
