It’s hard to control your destiny while you’re waiting for the bus. The trouble for Argus Kirkham began when a stranger pushed his way through a crowd at a bus stop and pressed a package into his hands. Inside the package were various random items – photos and toys and newspaper clippings. None of it seemed to make any sense, but as Argus and his friends unraveled the clues, very strange things began to occur in this novel of mystery and ghosts.

Wow - thanks! As a side note, enjoyers of 'Freak City' may also be interested in its related story - 'Snapdragon Alley', also available for free here at podiobooks.com. These, and many of my other stories, are also available for free in various e-book and online formats from smashwords.com.

I so enjoy your books, Tom. But what is it with the knocking and shifting sounds in the foreground of the audio?? Is the microphone not stable or something? It starts to distract from the really intriguing story line.

Definitely the best one by the author so far. I love how you get little hints of his other books through names of characters and phrases. I look forward to snapdragon alley.
