When a public garage locked up Chance Dugan's car for the night, with his wallet locked inside the car, he met the lovely Natti Moon who offered to put him up for the night. What's not to like? Except it turned into a week from hell, with both Chance and Natti on the lam from competing government agencies who are out to do them in. And when one got around to asking Chance for a hand, he only gave them a finger.

another ridiculously distorted podiobook, with inexplicable, ludicrous delay effects on top. not sure why, but good audio's become far more elusive to the average guy than the modern explosion of powerfully good, inexpensive gear would indicate. please, audiobook makers, have someone competent with audio engineering listen to your output before ...

I was unimpressed with the writing, the plot, the characters, the narration and the audio quality. I have no idea what the previous person found "very interesting" in this book. How stupid is Chance Dugan that he leaves his wallet in his car? that he can't figure out how to ...

I find it very annoying with the voices the narrator try to do. It sounds horrible. The audio quality leaves a lot to ask for, and I agree with a lot of the points that Charley Hardman pointed out above (I don't think you are a nerd just because you ...

I agree with the annoying voices of the narrator as well as it sounded too much like reading aloud. I also agree with the sound of the recording was not of quality. The storyline was ok, but I thought I was going to go nuts if I heard about those ...

i must say this is not the best book i have listened to. that being said it is not the worst either. every one has made a valid point. this the charm, the strength and weakness of a free and open audio book format. if you don't like it don't ...

I am now on episode 10 and I am really enjoying this podiobook. It sounds like the author is reading all of the characters' parts in this book which is a bit corny but I really like it. Love the Washington DC references since I live in the Washington DC ...

As a fan of audio entertainment, I don't get too bent about sound quality. I found the story amusing and entertaining. There were times the voices gave me pause as to whom was talking, but hell, I would not even attempt it. Keep writing Mr. Abresch, I will listen.

Pretty entertaining book. Loved the twists and turns of the story, though I must say I suspected the ending would turn out similar to the way it did.
