Step back in time

(5 Sterne)

A very Victorian and Christian kind of story, that is, the theme is religious belief. Each main character has to undergo stresses and trials, make mistakes, express doubt to varying degrees, reveal follies, and find forgiveness, faith, and truth. The reader only mispronounced a couple words, and her unrushed pacing and tempered expression suited the tone of the story well.

renae

this story is i·r·r·e·s·i·s·t·i·b·l·e ... tho it drags out quite a bit the end makes it worth it all ! ! ! ... there is even some singing-not very much ..it sure seems to take the REAL lovers quite awhile to understand each other ... it is a 'must' to read/listen to it

wonderful redemption

(5 Sterne)

Such a good book! It tells the story of Brokenness redeemed by the goodness of God. Exciting read as well.

lovely book

This book was a joy to listen too. Although it was written decades ago, it truly is timeless.
