good character study

(4 Sterne)

I enjoyed this although at times I found it painful. the author is very good at making her characters believable and it is as though you know their minds and souls, their emotions make sence.. and Henrietta felt like a modern girl to me. i I tried to Google the ending at one point with no luck, but trust me and listen to the end.

surprisingly good

(5 Sterne)

Good move to have a woman read the book. She did well. It took a while to get into the story, but worth it in the end. I wonder if Charles is one of the earliest characters in literature of someone with autism.

Humorous and Delightful

(5 Sterne)

A light and airy character study. Very well written and very well read.

(3 Sterne)

An old fashioned book. A little boring, but a good story

Want a dose of misery? Here it is.
