Angelica's dearest wish is to better herself. Not to be a factory worker, struggling every day to survive, but to be a lady. Refined, respected, and rich. She jumps at the chance to be a companion to a lady, hoping that she can learn how the other class lives, and how to be like them. Young and naive, her dream seems within her grasp - but can she hold on to it? (Summary by Krista Zaleski) (7 hr 45 min)

A good read. Good story, well read. Not predictable. Kept me interested throughout. I'll definitely be seeking out more by both the author and reader (this was my first for both).
Melanie
Hard to believe that people are that stupid, but maybe they are. A horrible heroine and horrible other characters. Really well read though.
Huckleberry Gap
Ditched this book several chapters in when the main character fell for a married man. Not the nice, old-fashioned romance I was hoping for.
