Enjoyable intrigue

(4 Sterne)

An older gentleman is murdered in a village where many inhabitants seem to have guilty secrets and reasons to be out on the moor near midnight, near the scene of the crime. Surprise revelations build until the penultimate chapter in this entertaining mystery.

Great story

I love Fletchers books. His stories are complex in some ways, but the stories are easy to follow and simply told.

As always Fletcher and Smallheer are an experience not to miss. Well developed plot presented by an excellent reader. Thank you

Overall Good Story w/ Great Narration

(4 Sterne)

I enjoy most of the books from this author. This was an entertaining listen while did chores. I was a bit confused by the ending because it explained part of the mystery but not necessarily the actual murder. I don’t know if anyone else was confused. Overall though, worth the listen to.

Interesting Story - Read Well

If you've enjoyed Fletcher's other stores you should like this one.

Excellent reader!

The mystery kept me guessing until the end, but it was lacking in charm.

Solid and Entertaining

Good story; solid and unspectacular though - excellent narrator richard g

It really does take you to the end before the culprit is revealed
