Johnny Liddell, the fast-moving New York private eye, is hired to investigate a murder which everyone but the client calls a suicide. Never heard of this hard boiled writer Frank Kane before! He is funny and excellent anyhow and Ben Tucker conveyed all the unsavory thugs and made the women sound like a series of seductive ninnies— just right.
