Menace from the Sea

(3,5 Sterne)

An interesting account of opium addicts in London of yesteryear. I have heard about this in enough books that I believe it was true. On top of that history lesson comes a walking mummy like being intent of becoming ruler of the earth. Never a dull moment as our hero attempts to foil the plot while, of course, falling in love. Excellent narrator but Mark is always great.

the book's idea and its language are unbelievably racist! all black folks are called the n word in the book.
