This is the kind of story that encourages us to carry on amidst hardships. The children's focus was what seemed conducted them through thier great sorrow into courageous behavior.

Delightful...simply delightful. This is ostensibly a simple tale of exploration by 3 young children in the English countryside during an age where the innocence of youth still thrived. However..the narrator was absolutely perfect for this story...and then for the book itself....I really enjoyed the strong character development and the various scenes of heroic response. Loved it!!
A Beautiful Classic

Still a superb story, even one hundred years on. The reader begins a little rushed at first. But, be patient, as she settles into a more comfortable, measured pace after a chapter or so. She really tells the story well.
Well written/well read

I throughly enjoyed listening to Karen Savage read this wonderful tale of Bobbi & her brother & sister. So many fun little adventures. Karen's talented reading made it easy to imagine E. Nesbit's detailed descriptions.
