Wonderful! I really like Karen Savage's reading of the Anne books. The LM Montgomery books have always been some of my favorites, and Ms Savage does a fine job with her tones and inflections of making the story come to life.

Oh Gilbert speaking to soon and therefore keeping Anne on her toes. And dear Phil… I wish she were my closet chum she and I have many things in common. I freaking love 💗 this book Karen Savage is the best!!!! I can’t picture Anne with any other voice. BEST BOOK EVERR ❤️❤️❤️

LOVE THIS BOOK!!! THANK YOU KAREN SAVAGE!!

I adore the Anne books and this one is my favorite. Karen Savage is one of my favorite Librivox narrators ranking along side of people like Elizabeth Klett, Mary Anderson and Kara Shallenburg! I wish Karen Savage would do the rest of the Anne books. Especially Anne of Ingleside as there is no audio for it on Librivox.

One of the sweetest things in this lovely book is finding the giddy rich girl Phil fall in love with a minister. It’s the happy ending that eludes Mary Crawford in Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park. Perhaps not coincidentally, Karen Savage performs both books, beautifully.

Wonderful Book; Amazing Reader!

I've been thoroughly enjoying listening to the Anne of Green Gables book series. Karen's skillful reading perfectly illuminates all the moments of humor, solemnity, and romance of Anne's world. Each character seems to possess his or her own spirit, to the point that it's sometimes hard to believe they're all read by a single narrator. What an absolute treasure these audiobooks are!

Simply amazing

I loved every moment of the time I spent listening to this audiobook, both thanks to the excellent reader and to the book itself. I am very fond of the whole series, and the next audiobook I am going to listen will be the third book of this series

If animals could speak, they'd despise this book

So, it seems that animals count less than disposable commodities, and Anne is a monster. Do not play this book. Avoid. Skip to the next one. Btw. Davy is a demon come to life - an utter, dreadful being in charge of destroying humanity.

Plum lovely

After a childhood of being told to read the Anne of Green Gables series, fine readers such as these are bringing me through the phases of Anne's life. So grateful for the time this reader has given to this series - she has done an excellent job.
