I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Very entertaining mystery and very well read! I have read several of Ms. Rinehart's books for LV as well. The reader is very lively and easy to the ears.

Interesting Story

(4 stars)

An older lady takes a house in a suburban city for vacation and finds herself in the middle of a mystery. A large sum of money has been stolen from a local bank, the cashier stands accused but has disappeared. This would keep the police busy enough, but they also are chasing a criminal mind known as 'The Bat' who somehow has learned about this money and means to have it for himself. Can the police uncover the mystery surrounding the missing money? Or will the Bat succeed yet again? Good plot for the most part, if a bit predictable and similar to the author's other books. It did keep me listening tho. Sound is kind of rough, tinny feedback that I had to work at removing using graphic equalizer.

Listen if you like mysteries with lots of twists.

Good mystery. lots of players in the twisting plot like her other stories. I liked the reading and feel it was well done.

Circilar Staircase #2

(4 stars)

The plot is very similar to the "Circular Staircase," but this story is vastly superior. It was well read and most enjoyable.

Gripping story.

Rhinehart does an amazing job, kept my interest all the way through. Reader keeps a good pace for this content.

Good story

Enjoyed this old-fashioned mystery. Good reader, but I think it was quite unnecessary fror him to plug his "blogspot" once or twice every chapter. It distracted from the story.
