I liked all the readers but Katie Riley. I feel bad saying so and I normally get accustomed to individual reading quirks but reading cadence is just hard to listen to. That said I am so thankful for all the volunteers giving their time to recording this book.

Thank you to all the readers. It was an eye opener to me to hear how C B suffered with her health and all the effort and energy she had to put into writing her books and turning up to engagements. I almost would like to drag her into modern day society and show her how much the world has changed compared to the 1840s / 50s. How lucky I feel that I wasn't around then, it amazes me that her father was able to get his cataracts removed back then, but poor Charlotte had to suffer these debilitating headaches with no medication relieve her. my favourite novel is Jane Eyre, I read it over and over . Some of the readers were better than others but all were intelligible and the book was worth it! So much food for thought.
