This is a delightful short story. For those of you who don't know it is a Strange story, a Violet Strange story. Violet is a remarkable if unlikely detective. A diminutive young lady that is easily the match of any situation. While Miss Butterworth is a wonderful character, Violet just strikes one as a more complete detective. This is definitely worth listening to, wonderful characters and excellent narration.

This is a great short story

An important paper is lost, and the only way to recover it is to enter a sealed up room that contains a deep dark secret. Short but intense, the story is well-worth the time. Reader is excellent. Enjoy!

Well read...interesting twists and turns.. well done for a very short mystery...end with a few questions in mind but which need not be answered

Magnificent Short Story.

Every word is a gem. There are no unnecessary descriptions of people or scenery that add length to a story but do not add real value to the story. An original plot and a very enjoyable reading by a talented person.

Easy listening

Good quick tale, with mystery and a dash of horror. I felt the resolution was predictable and the title was a bit of a red herring so I took off one star. Recommended.

ENTERTAINING TWO-LEVEL MYSTERY

A nice tidy short mystery, well read. I seem to recall that Poirot ( or someone) had a similar missing page adventure.

A short gem of a story

The reader is wonderful, with a smooth and pleasant voice. I half expected the ending, but never saw the twists and turns coming.
