White Nights & Other Stories brings together a selection of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's shorter works, showcasing the depth and complexity of his literary genius. This collection features seven distinct narratives, each exploring the intricacies of human emotion and the struggles of the individual against society.
Among the stories, the titular White Nights captures a poignant encounter between a dreamer and a young woman, set against the backdrop of St. Petersburg's enchanting summer nights. Notes from the Underground offers a profound introspection into the mind of an isolated man grappling with his place in the world, while A Christmas Tree and a Wedding presents a satirical look at social conventions.

it was good but it could be much better if it was read by a single reader it's a little disturbing to get used to a reader in a chapter to find another reader in the next chapter
One absolutely terrible reader ruined all

The reader of Third Night (chapter four) absolutely ruined this! I strongly suggest that this recording is redone and replaced by any other reader. It’s unclear whether she was mocking the story or whether she genuinely did not understand what she was reading. Please replace this recording. Terrible and a disgrace to Dostoyevsky’s writing!
Notes from Underground alone make this worth listening to.
