The sequel to Plague Ship, Voodoo Planet finds the Solar Queen banned from trade and starting her supposed quiet two-year stint as an interstellar mail carrier. Short and sweet
Onedaylikethis
A nice follow up to Plague Ship that is short and sweet. We get another glimpse into the Solar Queen's universe created by the genius, and local Cleveland native, that was Alice Mary Norton. This short story will not disappoint if you enjoy sci-fi of any kind. Although written in the 50's the story rarely shows its age and often leaves you smiling at how far ahead of the times she really was. As always, an excellent narration by Mark Nelson.
fantastic stuff from the great Andre Norton

I'm loving all this old sci fi read by the incredible Mark Nelson! Thanks to him for providing these stories on Librevox. And I'd like to say that I am entertained by the sound effects he uses for intros. If MN wants sound effects, then let's have them. The guy just read this book to you for free. Don't complain about his trademark sound effects!
Fantastic follow up to Plague Ship

A short fun sci-fi story that stays light and fun. I wouldn't say it's corny but it's a bit campy. It's a wonderful follow up to plague ship and it was great to hear another story about the members of the Solar Queen. The reading is top notch - but what else would you ever expect from Mark Nelson.

For start you cant go wrong listening to this story if you like classic Sci Fi. Nortons's stories are always fun and action driven, and of course once again we have the fabulous Mark Nelson doing the reading. Mark favours us with a lot of Sci Fi readings and they are always excellent. For more reviews of free audio please visit http://freeaudioreview.blogspot.com/
A splendid tale, not overly long
Akku
This is a much shorter follow up tale to Plague Ship and has some similar themes and ideas. it's a well realised story and not too coloured by the social attitudes of the time it was written in. I'll seek more by this author. beautifully read by Mark Nelson.
enjoy it!

Reminiscent of a time before pop culture made it impossible to tell a reasonable story and blew ideas out of proportion. If you like “The RCN Series” and just heard of the hardy boys then give “The Solar Queen series” a try.
