A World of Godsland novel.

Echoes of the ancients' power are distant memories, tattered and faded by the passage of eons, but that is about to change. A new dawn has arrived. Latent abilities, harbored in mankind's deepest fibers, wait to be unleashed. Ancient evils awaken, and old fears ignite the fires of war. In times such as these, ordinary people have the power to save the world . . . or destroy it.

All I can say is WOW

(5 Sterne)

Absolutely riveting. I recently got librivox as an alternative to listening to music while I'm at work. it only took me 5 days to listen to all 3 books but holy smokes the adventure I went on without moving from my work station was out of this world and I wish it didn't end. And to top it off. I don't like reading or listening to books but Brian my man you have changed my mind! I can't thank you enough for enlightening me to the wonders that are your books. Perfection at its finest!

An Epic begins

(4 Sterne)

I have to admit Brian's narration put me off at first, however the plot and characters kept my attention. By the books end I was left struck that such a well written story, with vivid characters and a captivating landscape, had never come to my attention before. Having finished the trilogy I can assure you that even if you don't enjoy the narration at first, by the next book Brian has made significant improvements to his narrative and the story is a true epic with depth and life that will leave you wanting more.

Great Adventure

(5 Sterne)

Quite a few people complain about the narration, however I found it to be perfect in its volume, clarity, and ease of listening. I often listen while smoking a pipe and sitting outside. The author has a way of describing things, that makes you feel and see them. Such an enjoyable book. I look forward to the next in the series.

Fantasy at its finest!!!

(5 Sterne)

I have to admit that at the beginning, I wasn't really into the story or the narrator/author. However, after the first chapter was over I was hooked! The author surprised me with his narration and the story became alive and it was like I was there to witness its birth. The heroes I began to love and the villains I despised. The story turned into a rollercoaster ride I never wanted to get off of. Every book in the trilogy is highly recommended!!!

Really good 👌.

(4,5 Sterne)

No offence but at first I didn't like the narration much. After the first few chapters I got used to it and actually found it to be pretty good towards the end :) . There is often a lot of adjectives used, but I feel that adds well to the story :). I rather like how his voice changes subtly when he narrates the different characters.

I downloaded the first two books but only got ten minutes into the first before I had to give up. Maybe it's because I'm a Brit but I just couldn't get on with the narration. However, I did download them both onto my Kindle as it really does sounds like my kind of book - just this way I can experience it at my own pace and tone.

Solid story....poor narration

(3 Sterne)

I listened to the first chapter and was pleased with the story line. Unfortunately the narration was more than tedious to bear. The author reads in a monotonous voice with almost no inflection that puts you in mind a Tibetan monks chant. Perhaps if I had stuck with it my ears would have become more attuned....but I don't think so.

Interested so far

(4 Sterne)

The story has me hooked so far, pretty typical fantasy world but with likable characters which is key to fantasy (at least for me) . Like most people the complaints here for me is also the narrator lack of narrating skills, he seems to be a solid writer but not good with the acting out of his story.
