This is a reading of Buddha-carita, or Life of Buddha Translated by E. B. Cowell, with some small supplements from Johnson's edition. The text of the reading can be found here . Only 14 chapters of the original text remain, and it is these (without the supplement by Amritānanda) that have been read in here.
